Ashley is a licensed occupational therapist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and co-founder of BIOS Performance Systems. She has an extensive background working in a variety of healthcare settings treating and training individuals that have a broad range of conditions ranging from general strengthening and mobility needs to more severe neurodegenerative disorders. She has completed a 40-week fellowship with the Gray Institute of Functional Transformation to deepen her knowledge of how each muscle, bone, and joint functions in three dimensions to provide a more comprehensive assessment and treatment for her clients. Throughout her career, she has developed a passion for not only treating the root source of pain or dysfunction but also preventing the problem before it begins to impair quality of life. This led her to pursue additional training and certifications in brain training and overall health and wellness earning her certifications as a brain health trainer and health coach. Ashley and her husband are passionate about delivering holistic, client-centered care and have founded BIOS Performance Systems on that principle. They specialize in preventive wellness and restoring function by combining neuroscience with musculoskeletal techniques through their services of performance training, rehabilitation, and brain health training.
Jeremy is an occupational therapist, strength and conditioning specialist, and co-founder of BIOS Performance Systems. Jeremy has worked in a variety of settings during his time as a therapist, from outpatient rehabilitation to inpatient rehabilitation and even some time in a sensory integration clinic working in pediatrics. He spends most of his days working with clients to help them recover, get out of pain, and improve strength and movement efficiency so that they can get back to doing the things that they love or need to do. Jeremy recently completed a 40-week fellowship through the Gray Institute of Functional Transformation to become a Fellow of Applied Functional Science to be able to go deeper into how the body functions and to learn how to best treat and train the body in all planes of motion. In his time as a therapist, he has noticed that the aging population doesn’t typically move as well as they have the potential to, people aren’t as strong as they could be, and their minds aren’t as sharp as they once were. This limits people’s ability to take advantage and participate in the things that give their life meaning. This has stirred up his passion to pursue a new and more simplistic client-centered, preventative care health model focusing on overall physical and cognitive health.
